Today is Mother’s Day. It is sunny and warm, just right to enjoy the garden. All those glorious spring flowers! I remember how in 1944, during our flight to freedom in WW ll, I was looking for flowers to give my mother. I was seven years old then. All around me was just ruins and scorched trees.
